  1. Would be great if you could add item counts (based on a list item property) to a tile.

  2. This is available after adding a theme... Would be ideal to have this as a web part without having to install a theme to do so.

  3. It would be helpful if the Tiles app could open a link in a modal. Having control over size (Height and width) of modal would be great.

  4. I've run into this issue with the News web part. I'm not sure if it's an issue with other BT web parts...

When BT News list items are viewed via News web part, the views are not counted in the SharePoint list Most Popular Items feature. BT support has confirmed that the data is pulled via SharePoint services and that method doesn't affect the usage statistics.

  5. Modern Document sets have been released in Sharepoint and the default icon that the Document app displays does not represent document sets. Please consider changing this icon to a document set type icon. Also, clicking the document exposed by the app part does not respect the "Open document With" settings within the app.

Hi! The current Document web part allows opening documents within document sets in 3 different ways: Modal, New Tab or Direct Download. Regarding the icon, an update to use the Document Set icon has been added to the roadmap.

  6. The ability to open emails/meetings in a panel or window would add to easy of use (and getting away from many tabs open)

  7. It would be great if BT Web Parts adhered to the default O365 theme by default, including Fabric icons and the MS font set (Segoe). Microsoft has done great job bringing an elegant look and feel to their modern environment and it would go a long way toward unifying the appearance if BT Web Parts also adhered to the same theme. If a BT theme was applied, obviously it’d be great to see the same fonts and icons (font awesome or whatever is used) carrying over as well. I realize color matching is on the agenda but fonts and icons…

In 2022 BindTuning started refactoring its entire web part gallery to align with Microsoft's Modern Experience. All refactored and new web parts adhere to the Microsoft 365 style guide, including fonts and icons. The use of the Microsoft color scheme (defined in Change the Look) is also possible. New and refactored web parts, for which this feature is already available, include Celebrations, Divider, Title, Lists, Documents, Image Gallery, People and Quick Links. Slider and Calendar will be released on July 2023 with the remaining following the same trend

  8. Add web part property to allow a custom message to be set if no data is returned

  10. Currently, the only way to sort links is via the position number. It would be great if we could sort via the title. This would save end users heartache from having to update position numbers in long lists.

  11. Currently, all web parts that use CAML for filtering require a static block of text for the query, with no way to change it at run time. This means that the filtering defined in the web part must be hard coded. This is highly inflexible -- what is needed is some way for the web parts to be sensitive to values passed into the page where the web part resides, via something like the URL query string. For example, let's suppose I want to create a news archive for hundreds of news items going back over ten years, with one…

  14. The SharePoint Team Site that is created as part of an Office 365 Group includes some great functionality in the Site Title / Header. For example, the Public/Private setting and the Site Classification are show and the user can click to access the other parts of the O365 Group.

This functionality is lost when applying a Theme to the site but it should be kept.

Please reach out to me if you need a screenshot or demonstration of what I am talking about.

  15. Images on the news webpart never seem to be central and cut off. It would be useful to be able to centre /cover the image.

It would be fantastic if the news items would scroll much like a smart tile but using the individual tiles.

  17. The following scenario is when you use the people web part as a employee directory on your main intranet page that has high volume.
We would like to see an option that would allow the currently loaded profiles upon page load to be collapsed until the employee clicked on the search box or some type of mechanism. The reason for this is if you were to place this part on your main intranet page there will always be a few employee's who are displayed for the whole company. This can be somewhat awkward for these employee's and it would be…

  19. Add an article offset to the news and slider web part. This would allow multiple news web parts to show the news articles.

You could show the latest 3 news items in a larger layout or slider, and the remaining news with a more compact style.
