  1. I have noticed after adding filters to the List Webpart, the options available are showing in the order that the list rows are created under.

    I wish to have an option to sort the filter values alphabetically so that it is easier to find a value to filter by when viewing list data.

    Please could this be available for all filter options: "Buttons", "Dropdowns" and "Panel".
    Also please could this work for columns that accept multiple values i.e. Choice field with multiple values allowed and Person field with multiple values allowed.

  2. It would be nice to have pagination available on the accordion webpart so that we could limit it to 10 or so and then page to see more. Would help keep page layouts in a predictable size.

  3. It would be AMAZING if we could configure this webpart to point to the Hire Date field or any other date field in Azure AD for that matter so that it could be used for something other than Birthdays. The Hire date field would allow us to use it for work anniversaries.

  4. Please add a calendar view for the events calendar with the ability to display events for the month with custom colors. We want to display the entire month in a mini calendar (we don't want it to look like an Outlook or SharePoint calendar). Here are some examples for a better look and feel.

  5. Please bring back the features you removed from the previous version. While new and improved options are always welcomed removing older features do not help us in our environment. Need to be able to configure number of rows and need to have a compact list view with small icons. Or the ability to remove doc type for the icons.

  6. I think we should change or allow the option to change the icon for the accessibility icon. I believe another valid option would be the standard accessibility icon. (lower left corner: https://accessibilityspark.com/ten-reasons-you-should-get-the-web-accessibility-icon-on-your-website/)

    Hi Zach! Thanks for submitting your idea. We currently have no updates planned to the Accessibility Tool but I have added this as a feature request in our roadmap. Keep those good insights coming 💪🏻

  7. Please add the ability to display the BT Calendar Events in a card format (like the out of the box Microsoft web part). Users love the Microsoft web part, but it lacks the ability to to pull in calendars from multiple sources.

    Hi Mike! This is included in our roadmap and we will let you know as soon as development starts. In the meantime, check the Carousel web part, which supports both SharePoint Lists and Modern Events (using the Dynamic Content option). 

  8. Add a "Hide File Extensions" checkbox to the Documents Webpart settings so I can hide .pdf, .docx, .pptx, etc. from my document names. In most layouts the file extension is already shown as an icon. Thank you.

  9. It would be nice to be able to adjust the gradient scale and text color in the news webpart > gradient layout. And any other webparts that might use this as well.

  11. For the Lists WebPart - the Card and Compact cards can show an image for each item.

    The Lists WebPart can display images that are defined as a URL in a custom field or in the built-in "Banner Image URL" field on the Pages library.

    SharePoint can display Thumbnails in a list for documents (as detailed here: https://www.sharepointdiary.com/2019/10/sharepoint-online-document-library-thumbnail-view.html)

    Add the capability to display images based on the Thumbnail field.

  13. I would like to see a webpart for an alerts scrolling ticker where I could create my own messages and then add the part to a page to help with important or breaking news items (weather closure, service outages, etc.).

  14. On all the new web parts, we would love to see the ability to control Columns and Rows. We need to be able to remove columns not needed on things like documents web part. Would also like to control more columns on the list web part.

    Also Rows Pagination should be responsive like it use to be. If I choose 10 rows max but only have 3 rows filled it should push up the pagination numbers.

    • Need the ability to show/hide columns (list view)
    • Not all columns are always desired or needed. We would ideally only need Title, Modified Date to be displayed in views
    • Need ability to control number of columns and rows not just rows.
    • Need a compact view for the Medium Layout. Just too large and takes up too much space. On List view the rows should have a dynamic option. So if there are only 5 files it should not take up 10 rows of empty space if you have it set to a maximum rows of 10.

  16. We want the users have a option to download multiple documents at a time. We are unable to find that option in the Document webpart settings in SharePoint 2019.
    It would be great to have such a feature in the Documents webpart just like we have the option to turn on the 'Upload' button.

    Multiple file download from the Documents Web Part is available for the SharePoint Online - Modern version of the Web Part (see attached screenshot). We do not currently have plans to work on the SP 2019 web parts but will revisit this requirement when we do.

  18. When creating news article using SharePoint new item for list, you can add attachments to list items.

    Expected Behavior: If an attachment exisits on the News Article, the attachment should be shown on the show article in popup.

  19. The two working languages of our organization is English and French. We have translated our site content in to French and would like to use the multilingual features for SPO on the site which heavily uses tiles and the accordion webparts. This is critical for our operation within the next few months.
