Hi Mike! The new Calendar View web part displays events for the month with custom colors :) These colors can be defined by Calendar (if you combine 2 calendars in the same view, you can pick one color for each) and by event Category. Note that customization for event Category is only available if your data source is either "Events" or "SharePoint List". It shows as a thin line above the event name, to not be confused with the Calendar customization. Is it the design of the color customization that you would like to see improved?

The refactored People web part, launched in March 2023, allows sorting by Surname when data sorce is set to Azure AD. If you are connected to a SharePoint List, sorting by Last Name is also supported, provided that your list includes that column. The only data source for which sorting by last name is not available is "User and Groups" for which available sorting methods include "shuffle", "name" and "department"

In 2022 BindTuning started refactoring its entire web part gallery to align with Microsoft's Modern Experience. All refactored and new web parts adhere to the Microsoft 365 style guide, including fonts and icons. The use of the Microsoft color scheme (defined in Change the Look) is also possible. New and refactored web parts, for which this feature is already available, include Celebrations, Divider, Title, Lists, Documents, Image Gallery, People and Quick Links. Slider and Calendar will be released on July 2023 with the remaining following the same trend

    Hello Mike
Thanks for following up - the user, if allowed by the browser, and inside the web part itself, can switch the location himself by clicking on "Change Location", right below the city name. A drop down menu will then appear and the user could either search for its location name or click to "Detect my Location". Is this not what you meant? Would you rather have the web part automatically updating for its location, without the user having to do it?
