1. News Web Part: Add picture gallery or slider to article and lead text fully shown

   It would be great to implement a picture gallery or the slider within a news article. So when opening the news card in a modal view, several images would be shown below the article content.

   In addition, is it possible to show the complete lead text instead of showing the ellipsis?

2. Delve-like web part

   First of all, congrats on the excelent job! I recently built a intranet using your themes/web parts for ofice 365 and it is beautiful.

   One thing I would like to see is a web part that query the Graph (using GQL) to return results like Delve does.

4. Add drop shadows function to all web parts

   The new social web part has a great feature under layout that allows you to simply turn on and off drop shadows displayed around the Social Web Part. We would like to see this feature implemented on all the web parts.

5. People Part Collapse or minimize funciton

   The following scenario is when you use the people web part as a employee directory on your main intranet page that has high volume.
   We would like to see an option that would allow the currently loaded profiles upon page load to be collapsed until the employee clicked on the search box or some type of mechanism. The reason for this is if you were to place this part on your main intranet page there will always be a few employee's who are displayed for the whole company. This can be somewhat awkward for these employee's and it would be preferred if we could have an option when it would be expanded or collapsed. This is mostly for when placing on a main intranet page which has high volume.

7. Add an offset to News and Slider webpart

   Add an article offset to the news and slider web part. This would allow multiple news web parts to show the news articles.

   You could show the latest 3 news items in a larger layout or slider, and the remaining news with a more compact style.

9. Create a spotlight staff web part

   It would be great to have a custom content search web part. I know it's possible to build a custom display template, but it would be great if bindtuning offered this feature with different display options.

   I can't upload an image to this, but I'd be happy to send my mockup. Basically, I'd like to have 3 columns.
   Column 1: Rounded image
   Column 2: Row 1:Name
   Row 2: Font awesome icon and job title
   Row 3: Department
   Column 3: Row 1: Work phone
   Row 2: Work email
   Row 3: building/location

   Hi! We wiil keep reviewing this suggestion to evaluate whether to build a specific web part for this. In the meantime, we recommend using BindTuning News with list mapping to create a Staff Spotlight. You can map name, department etc to the news title and summary mapping intro text to the news content

10. More tile options

    We need more tile layout options. For example: 2x2, 2x3, 3x4, 4x4, etc. The current design can leave a lot of empty white space on your screen if you want to lay them out 2x2 (without having giant tile images).

    The tiles web part also needs to be improved when importing images in. Currently, you can only set the image as the background. It would be great to put the image in the center (like the font awesome icons). That way we can use .jpg .png images of company logos, etc.

11. Add the ability to update colors after deploying a theme SharePoint & Office 365

    It would be really nice if there a Guide to or way better commenting in the CSS files for customizing bind tuning templates (SharePoint and Office365 specifically) after deployment in SharePoint that was written kind of like this. http://www.tcs.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/White%20Papers/Best-Practices-for-Designing-Responsive-SharePoint-Site-0514-1.pdf or possibly a tool such as the theme cusomization site that allowed for post deployment updates.

    Currently if I deploy a template there isn’t a guide or easy way to change the font style or color without having to go in and override a ton of css manually by looking all the classes and styles up via the dom explorer element by element to find either BT-ID or the CSS Class name. Instead of having to put read from a guide it would be even nicer for there to be a good tool such as your sites customization tool or the SPColor Palette tool to customize the site. Are there spcoolor files used in your template that we could then use the themable tag in CSS to customize? If not, maybe it would be a good idea to convert how you inject your CSS to more of a SP color/ SP color Palette generator way of branding? I know that if I have SP 2013 template that I can go generate the solution with different colors and stuff like that and redeploy by removing completely and reinstalling but its tedious and unacceptable in a live environment. Further, it appears as if Office 365 templates can only be customized one time and then never changed after purchase. Which in the case of my last 2 clients marketing changed there mind after purchase and created a ton of work for me in terms of CSS and i had to do it alll class by class ,item by item, from the lack of guide, tools, etc. If the color palette was used and all the CSS styles were changed to {Thememable) the user could change the themeable tags on the items that they want change default color schemes on or change the color of that thememable item such as accent 1, 2 ,3 etc.

    Microsoft DOES NOT want us using master pages in Office 365 going forward so this might be a good step in that direction.

    Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your idea. :)
    BindTuning concept is based on a pay-per-use idea, so this is the reason why you can only customize your theme before download.
    Our themes, for both Office 365 and SharePoint 2013 can be customized using the customization tool before download, or changed manually after download.

    For most CMSs we do provide free trial themes, including for SharePoint.

    Currently, trials are not available for Office 365, due to a few CMS restrictions, though we are making all efforts to change this and start providing trials as soon as possible.

13. Add attachments to News article

    It would be great to support attachments in the news article so that they would be clickable when opening in a modal view. Instead of inserting HTML code, it would be easier to add some checkboxes.

14. Add Portal site connection to breadcrumb

    We use often more then one SiteCollection. We use BintTuning CSS Themes.
    It would be nice, when the Portal site Connection (Sites Settings > Site Collection Admin > Portal site Connection) appears in the breadcrumb. The user has a full view, where he stand.

16. Could you add arrows in smart tiles?

    We use smart tiles for news and it would be great if we could go back to the previous news.

    We can not use the slider WebPart because the news tile is in the middle of other tiles.

17. Provide more columns for News Web Part

    Can you provide more columns for the News Web Part? It would be great to implement social aspects (likes or comments)!

    Some of our customers are using the SP blog. When using SP Blog as the source, the mapping fields are therefore limited because usually the given fields (summary, categories, etc.) are already in use.

    In addition, is it possible to change the language (e.g. 2 days ago...)?

18. Bindtuning.com live branding - build in image creation into tool

    Take for example the Response SP theme and the Response logo. Would be nice in the online tool to swap out that image for your own corporate logo and/or ability to change the color / transparency all within the tool (vs. doing it offline). The latter would be just the ability to custom load a picture there so you can see placement.

19. Auto-minimize the HideRibbon control

    If you have purchased and enabled the HideRibbon control, would be great that it could be configured to auto-close the ribbon every time you open your web browser - or hop between machines. The manual click on the control is great but only helpful if your browser session is currently open.
